About Mizu Crafts

We started Mizu Crafts in November 2018 selling cross-stitch patterns. It quickly grew to candles and just hasn't stopped growing! Every geek, nerd, otaku, and fan should be able to show loud and proud their favorite fandoms and our crafts are meant to help you do just that.

We also believe that candles shouldn't just be good for your home. They should be good for the world. Our mission is to provide eco-friendly nerdy candles and crafts without the high price tag. That's why all the materials we use are sourced specifically with that in mind.

Our namesake is Mizu, one of our five sweet cats. Mizu is a chubby and sweet tuxedo cat that helps keep us grounded and lets us know exactly what she thinks of every candle we create. (Check out our Instagram to see how cute and chubby she is) 

 

Mizu Crafts is owned by a lesbian of color, with all our art currently being done by my amazing wife.

We melt and hand-pour all our candles in-house in Austin, TX.
